Finding Love

Finding Love

A Poem by Dan

Finding Love

On the day the deserts bloom,

When the seas and oceans dry,

At the dawn when angels cry,

I'll find out why and I'll find love.

When the stars all shine as one,

When miracles are common place,

And when I see your smiling face,

Warm I'll be and I'll find love.

When forests grow again,

On the day when all is clear,

When we abolish hate and fear,

I'll have you here and I'll have love.

When the wells are no more dry,

On the day we stop and think,

When we swim, no more to sink,

I'll make the link and I'll find love.

And on the 32nd day,

Of the month which has no end,

My weary way at last I'll wend,

Homeward bound, where love is found.

A nice expression of the longing/search for love.
A unique rhyme scheme complements the colourful story.

The 2nd stanza is ma favourite with the line "When the stars all shine as one." I hope the light guides you where the love is.

Nicely done.

Heart warming. Another one for my favourites I think, one day we'll all find something resembling love. Well, maybe that's just the optimist in me. I think I look in the wrong places lol! Good luck with it, the 32nd day will come soon enough :)
