I fear them

I fear them

A Poem by NeverSurrender

I fear them
Because they hunt me in my dreams
And when they take my soul
Nobody hears my screams

I fear them
Because nobody has my back
When they're forming their army
Ready to attack

I fear them
When I see them under my bed
But I fear them most
Because they only exist in my head

Beautiful imagery, repetition, rhyme, and rhythm. You have got a perfect style mastered. Although it is short, it is better than trying to lenghten something that with only more words will just get longer: not better. Once again, wonderful. Captivating opening in the first stanza: "I fear them Because they hunt me in my dreams And when they take my soul Nobody hears my screams."

Those monsters and demons chasing us. I like this poem. My monsters are pressure to get things done. A excellent poem. Description and story was very good.

Wow you have hit the nail on the head, to the point, not too many imagery, but the flow and sense compensate for the little imagery, good technique
