Still Thinking Of You

Still Thinking Of You

A Poem by Kelly
"

This one's just made up, it's about nobody in specific.

"

I'm hoping, wishing. I'm thinking of you.

I can't help but wonder what it is I should do.

I sit around waiting for the phone to ring.

I'm baffled by you, but you make my heart sing.

You tell me you like me then you never call back.

This strange behavior sort of blew me off track.

If your uninterest in me is what you're trying to construe.

Then now, I'm not hoping, not wishing; But I'm still thinking of you.

It's nice. True to life sadly, but what can you do. Love can be contradictory and feelings can be terrifying. We as readers might never know if it was malice or fear that stayed the other's voice. Perhaps thats part of the charm :)

Confusing love. Some tell us one thing but their actions tell another. Of course, the meaning was awesome, however, line seven was a bit confusing and not orderly. Excellent message behind the piece!
