Midnight Kiss

Midnight Kiss

A Poem by John Davidson

Under the moon and stars,
Looking in your eyes,
Is like being in a dream.
Never wanting to wake.
Your soft mesmorizing skin
Intoxicates me.
Your lips have never met mine,
But looking at you,
I dream of the day they finally do.
Under the moon and stars,
Holding you close to me,
Hoping for the day our lips meet,
And you become mine.
You keep the darkness at bay.
I feel happiness coming back to stay.
Under the moon and stars,
You are my escape.
Nothing else matters,
But you.
