Forever & Always

Forever & Always

A Poem by CoveredInLies
"

Love

"
Gazing upon, what might be the most precious Being in my life
My reason for breathing stares back and grins
As though my thoughts are being broadcast for only them to hear.
My darkest secrets become ours to share.
Embroidering your love into my heart,
You kiss my lips with such passion and ferocity
That even the God's would crumble beneath your strength
We will be triumphant, together
I will fight for you, with all of the strength contained in my being.
I will stand by you, until my legs can no longer hold me up
And in that moment, I will be by you, until my body will not allow me
I will be with you, in your heart, until the day your life ends.
And I will love you even longer.
Just say the words, and I will be yours
Forever and always.

One of the few love poems I can actually relate to, well written and beautifully presented.
