The End

The End

A Poem by Nevaeh Flight

I left my heart
On your door step
Take care of it
Its fragile
Broken
Please mend its wounds
Lift it up
But be careful
It just might crumble
With your slight touch
Take that chance
Will you.?
Wrap it up
Store it away
As I go on my way
Into the nothingness
Head held high
Accepting my fate
As it stands before me
Long black hair'ed
Dead eyed
Black cloak billowing
In a none existent wind
Dead eyes staring right down into the core of my soul
Blackening it as it goes
Deeper
And Deeper
Until
I fall limp
To the perishing ground beneath my feet
All my life fleeting me
As the candle burns out
This is
The End

You entrust someone with your fragile heart as you fade away....hmmmmm maybe the lack of a heart is the cause of the blackness.

Perhaps , perhaps not
Lots of emotion and you portrayed it well. I like it
