Mute

Mute is a word on a copyright posted image stored on my flickr account. They tampered with the individual date of course, but the dates both before and after are in chronological sequence. The "Mute" post is the odd one out, May, May, May, September, May, May. In addition there are also several rows of images that comprise these stored image-files as a proto-storyboard for the movie. 

I had used the word Mute as an abbreviation of mutant. An idea for a movie I'd jotted an online memo of. The title was supposed to be humorous self-deprecation - a specific mutation that causes poverty of social speech. The title coming from Jones is probably intended as a derisive insult however.  

I had used the words "film noir". The movie in description is film-noir science-fiction. And several rows higher after beginning the sequence with the word "mute" there reaches conclusion with a collage-painting I'd created and posted of a primitive eye-mandala that could be interpreted as the movie's eye operation scene.  

I'd starting collaging and painting the eye-mandala preceding the popular single release of the morbid and violent Gothic jazz rock album ★.

My wife's primary response upon hearing the Gregorian chanted noise from the eerie new single playing on youtube was to turn her head toward the black-framed eye mandala design propped up against the sofa. A raw early version of this image had also been my twitter heading for several months during my problematic first spell on the site. This perhaps was where the Feudal tyrant had purloined his central lyrical motif for the album from.
