Sky of Comfort

Sky of Comfort

A Poem by Sunset Girl
"

Sometimes life takes people to different places but there will always be under the same sky.

"

Far away or by my side,

I know we are under

The same sky today.

You may have the sun

While I have rain clouds

But know they are in the same sky.

And when I close my eyes

With the great moon watching

I know it’s the same moon watching you.

And when the stars are shining bright

Look up at them and know

I’m looking up at them too.

Cause far away or by my side

The same sky looks over us both

Keeping us close together.

Great poem! It says so much about the power and strength of love...no matter what the distance may be, you are bound together. Beautiful and well written :)

. i think this is a fantastic piece of writing ... it's simple but infinitely profound ... beautifully written ... you know your words well and they know you well too ...

In these lines I find a monumental connectedness to one another...The earth is small, the universe seems infinite. And yet we are able to see the same things in different moments from different vantage points and perspectives...Profound when you think about it...The world got a little smaller today... Great job!
