Remember when

You held my hand

Just talked to me

Made me laugh

Made me not think

About what was going on

You got me

To face my fears

Without even knowing

The look I had

When you said I did it

 

Remember how

You always

Jumped with me

Even when you’d done it

A thousand times

You’d do it again with me

 

Remember how

You loved holding my hand

If it meant helping me

We’d always do it together

I loved that about you

I miss that

 

I need you

To hold my hand

To jump with me

I need to know

You’re in this with me

Completely and always

Thank you!! It's a joy knowing my words can effect people and makes me enjoy sharing :) I only wish the person they're for could see the depth too. I fear they'll never completely understand how greatfull I am for them.

:: you're very, very, very welcome... but 'never' say 'never'... the one i write for doesn't hear me clearly still... it's been almost five years... :: it just means the person has trust issues... at least in my case... even incontrovertible evidence is not enough... maybe the wounds he has are too deep... but i have patience and i can persist... :P

If nothing else, it is a goal of mine to "show" this person what they did for me. They can be very "it wasn't me"ish and discrediting at times. If only they could see the total difference. One day... and I hope the same for you as well.
