Lost

 

One small word

With such a big meaning

 

It’s how I feel

Among broken and confused

Questioning

Wondering what happened

 

Feels like

I left the right path

And now

I’m roaming about

Turned in circles

In the woods

 

Trying to find

My way back

To the right path

 

I’m not alone

There are others with me

We can help each other

Yet I’m not sure if we can

 

You,

You helped me once

I got far that time

Will you help me again?

 

Will you take my hand

Guide me

Walk with me

Tell me one day

I’ll find my own way

 

Cause today

I’m still lost

Looking for a sign

Looking for you.

~ you expressed that dizzying sense of direction-less-ness perfectly... ~ i've been lost so many times that now when i feel lost... i know it's temporary... and i also know that the feeling will visit me again and again... it's one of those perplexing realities of the human condition... goes with the territory... ~ but once again... this is a beautiful piece of poetry, heart and soul... i relate to it intensely...
