Frozen yet flowing

Frozen yet flowing

A Poem by Sunset Girl
"

Even when a river freezes for the winter, you can sometimes find some water flowing.

"
I feel so frozen
Like a river in winter
Just standing still
Waiting for the warm spring
Waiting
For something to throw me

Frozen like the ice
On a cold winter day
When that's all one can see
If the frozen river
Emotionless
Waiting

But underneath
Is still a flowing river
Not caring of the cold
Full of life
Full of emotion
And feeling

You may see
A frozen River
Waiting to throw
But if you look deep
You'll see that river flowing
Like it was never frozen

And if you look
Hard enough
You may even find
A place or two
That hasn't frozen
On the surface

~ oh... the picture is as stunning as this piece... exquisite imagery... and infinitely expressive poetry... this is magical work... and so true... there have been times when i thought i was frozen... but i wasn't... i think our core remains intact no matter what... and that comes through beautifully in this piece...

Writing can help one express what they can't seem to explain verbally. My poems are mostly about life, love and relationships. I started writing more when I thought people just wouldn't understand me.. more..
