Frozen yet flowingA Poem by Sunset GirlEven when a river freezes for the winter, you can sometimes find some water flowing.
I feel so frozen
Like a river in winter Just standing still Waiting for the warm spring Waiting For something to throw me Frozen like the ice On a cold winter day When that's all one can see If the frozen river Emotionless Waiting But underneath Is still a flowing river Not caring of the cold Full of life Full of emotion And feeling You may see A frozen River Waiting to throw But if you look deep You'll see that river flowing Like it was never frozen And if you look Hard enough You may even find A place or two That hasn't frozen On the surface © 2013 Sunset GirlAuthor's Note
