SimplenessA Poem by Sunset GirlTake time to stop and enjoy the simple things.
So cozy and still
Settled by the river In a canopy of color With orange and yellow leaves Laid ever so right Almost as if Each one was laid in place Carefully and perfectly With an ever still hand Oh how I long To sit on that bench Soak in the warm sun While watching the river Become a part Of the color Feel it's care Around me Holding me It's days like now With the world rushing by I see that bench By the river under a canopy of color And long to sit there If only for a minute To enjoy the simpleness To enjoy the beauty God gives us That we're soon To busy to see. © 2012 Sunset GirlReviews
