UntitledA Poem by Sunset Girl
Admitting you were right
Was a hard step Hard to admit to myself I wanted you to be wrong Not just because It meant I was right But because It means I was wrong Wrong about him Who he really is Just like the others Even if he was different It was the right kind of different I just even his type Can be game players Admitting you were right Meant admitting I was wrong Wrong about someone Who I knew Had already changed my life And we don't like To be wrong About matters so deep Saying you were right Meant admitting I was wrong I didn't want to be wrong this time I so badly wanted To be right © 2012 Sunset GirlAuthor's Note
