We shouldn't have to wait for someone to be ready to love us

Or stand

~ extremely beautiful poetry... soaked in emotion... this experience is a painful one but you've written brilliantly about it... and... given your readers a reason to relate to this piece and feel understood... we all have a tolerance level... and when that tolerance level is crossed... we break away... we can only wait as long as we can wait... we can't stretch so much that we break...

I like your syllable structure, and the brevity of your lines. My criticism would be that you need more imagery, more description and metaphorical terms as opposed to saying things outright. But I really enjoyed speaking these words out loud.
