What does

This all mean?

Am I trying too hard

To keep your word to me?

Does your silence

Have a meaning

Besides what you say

That you’ve been busy?

Cause it doesn’t seem

That you’re too busy

To make time for

People you said

Didn’t mean that much

So who means more?

 

What does

This all mean?

When you’re words

Don’t match your actions?

When I start to think

It was all a lie?

Are your words just that

Words with no meaning?

Was everything we had

Just a tease?

I have to wonder

Was any of it real

And is your silence

Finally telling the truth?

~ extremely powerful, poignant and expressive poetry... in my case i had to dig really, really deep to decipher the meaning of the silence that was / is sent my way... on the face of it, it seemed ugly... but it hid the insecurity of a little-boy-heart... am not saying this for the sake of saying this... i have rational evidence for what i know...

Thank you again, I always enjoy reading your thoughts. His silence is annoying me, but I feel it's there for a reason. I can hope that reason is for him to first know his thoughts and feelings.

~ we hope because the future can't be predicted... hope is a very rational emotion... time will reveal the truth... for sure... and the truth will give strength... in my life, it always does... patience pays... time gives me the answers i need... i know that he cares about me... but is still not strong enough to act... he's a very troubled soul...
