The Warmth That Winter Brings

The Warmth That Winter Brings

A Poem by Nettie Venerix
"

A short poem about the simple love that winter brings.

"

The snow falls gently upon the ground

The warmth of summer is no where to be found

Hot coco and gathering around the fire

Look deep into yourself, lift yourself higher.

There's something no one understands

Neither you nor I can plan

The arrival of a certain someone

When stoic and uncaring personality come undone

No one understands like we do

When the wind is cold and no one has a clue

There's a lovely, dainty tune

with the hearts that sing

and no one knows the warmth that winter brings.
