Parallel Lines

Parallel Lines

A Poem by Vanessa Macanas

Parallel lines are defined
Two paths that never cross
If you should be on that other path
I would make an angular statement
Intersecting to you..
X marks the spot
Our paths will cross
And we will part in a 90 degree angle
That will leave trails of the memories we shared..
Intersecting..

this is sooo great! :) i like it alot and to me its deep and sweet....and it is true one day your lines will meet and you will probaly have to go back to the memories that you have shared with that person. very well written. did you write this for someone that you and that person went through not trying to be nosie or anything just wondering. but i really like this one and its going into my library! :)

my math teacher would love this because it makes sense. i like how it kind of has that boy meets girl almost factor. how the boy and girl cross paths and start to like each other. that kinda factor.... any way i like it!

I really like this poem. I can't pinpoint the exact reason why, but I just feel happy and oh wait I figured it out, the "angular statement" line makes me happy for some reason. I cannot explain why, but it is a good poem that has a lot of feeling and emotion yet it's concise and to the point. Thank you. :) Keep on writing.
