Chapter 5

 

***Nathan's P.O.V.***

"My mistake, I guess you are a good kisser," Daniel said to me.

That's right; I thought to myself, I'm a fantastic kisser. My face brightened up with a big smile until reality finally hit me. I JUST KISSED HIM!

I could feel my cheeks burning up from what he had just made me do.

"Why the hell did you do it?" I yelled out at him.

“Do what?” he asked as he chuckled and smiled at me.

“Why did you make me kiss you?” I said to him.

 "I didn't make you do anything," he said matter-of-factly, "You kissed me on your own. I was walking away and YOU pulled me back."

"N-n-no!" I yelled out of him stuttering. He was wrong; he was the one that obligated me to kiss him.

You know that's not true, I heard a voice say in my head. It's you who wanted to kiss him again, to feel his lips against yours.

Shut up, I told the little voice, that is not what I wanted!

Oh yes it is, it said mockingly, oh yes it is.

I pushed the little voice out of my head and put my attention on Daniel who was now walking back to the house.

"W-where are you going?" I asked him.

He turned back to look at me," I'm going back to the party." he continued walking away from me and to the front of the house. 

What was I supposed to do now, leave? Well that's what I was going to do anyway. 

As I heard the noise coming from the house I couldn't help it. I started walking towards the house. 

I had to figure out why the hell I had kissed him. And why the hell I had LIKED it.

***Daniel's P.O.V. ***

When I got back into the house I headed straight back to the basement. A smile played on my face as I walked to the door. I felt a tap on my shoulder and prayed it wasn’t Derek again.

To my surprise it wasn’t Derek; it was some skinny brunette girl. I might be gay but I know a hot girl when I see one. This is the type of girl that I usually see my brother with.

I smile at her and say, “Can I help you?”

She moves closer to me and says, “I’m not sure, maybe. See the guy I was supposed to be here with tonight isn’t here and now I’m alone.”

Her hand moves to my chest and I keep my eyes on hers. “So you tell me, do you think you can help me?”

I start to laugh a bit and grabbed her hand that she has on my chest. “You know you are hot and I’d like to say that I could help but-“

“But what?” she says interrupting me and moving her hand higher up my chest to my neck. “We might do some stuff that you’d like.”

“I really doubt that I’d like it,” I tell her chuckling.

She gives me a confused look, “You’re funny, and of course you’re going to like it.” Her arms wrap around my neck and she moves her body against mine.

“What’s going on here?” I heard someone say and oh it was just the voice I wanted to hear.

I turned my head a bit to see Nathan standing cross armed in the doorway of the kitchen. “What do you think is going on?” I ask him as I put a hand on the girl’s waist.

His mouth tightens and I grin. Oh what’s this, I think to myself, is he jealous.

The girl smiled and turned to Nathan, “Oh hi Nathan,” she said.

Nathan seemed to be getting even more upset. “What are you doing with him?”

The girl smiled more at him, “Well I was feeling lonely and I saw him by himself so I thought we could have some fun together.”

I was the one that was confused now. Why did it matter if the girl was with me? I smiled at him and said, “What, is she your sister or something? Is that why you’re acting that way?”

I chuckled at him knowing that there was no way he should even be worried because I didn’t like girls. And this girl was not going to change that.

“No, she’s not my sister,” he said angrily.

So if she wasn’t his sister than why was he so mad. “Well then why are you mad?” I ask him. “It’s not like she can’t want to have fun.”

As I finished saying that his face turned red and I knew I had said something that had really pissed him off.

“No, she can’t have fun with you,” he said through his gritted teeth, “because she’s my GIRLFRIEND.”
