Created on March 24, 2009. This was originally for a grade, but I liked what I created so much that I copied it on a separate sheet of paper. (:

Forever I said, forever it shall be.
The promise is held in the palm of our hand.
When I see thy eye,
I lie in petals of thoughts.
Your eyes like a bright,
lush green meadow,
speckled with golden flowers.

With your smile and with your heart, til the May of our end.
Mine, yours, our promise is to never hurt one another.
A promise is like a key of trust;
millions are made,

thousands are lost or broken,
hundreds are kept.
You'll never know how dear you are to me,
but our promise is forever and I'll never let it go.
