My Secret Lover
I couldn't believe i did it.
I left him and was with you.
I had all my hopes and dreams.
I had you, i had that once in a life time love.
Kissing your lips,
your arms around me,
you telling me you love me...
It was everything i ever dreamed of.
I waited ten years for this.
I waited for so long and i just threw it all way!
Even after falling asleep together
and waking up to your voice telling me you love me.
I still left.
I'm sorry i left.
I'm so sorry...
I see now the choices i made
were not the best for me.
one day i hope you will forgive me
I know i hurt you,
I know i hurt myself,
I know the only one who is happy is him.
I just wish i could take it all back.
Because looking into your eyes,
knowing how much you love me
felt so wonderful.
I'm sorry i left,
I'm so sorry.

You really have a beautiful way of expressing pain in your poems. I think it's good to get it out on paper how you feel and hopefully Lucis will see your poems and realize how deeply you love him. He may read this and forgive you...maybe more I hope! Excellent poem!

I have found over time, that true love always finds a way, when the heart and the will are strong. I will agree with Nuala below, that if your love were to read this, I would hope that he could forgive, and take you back into his arms.
