For the Love of A Mother

For the Love of A Mother

A Poem by Neshie
"

I wrote this for my mother last year on Mother's Day.

"

Mom,

This is your special day.

Here are some thoughts from over the years.

Before I was even born,

You had a struggle.

Three years and almost a half a million dollars in medical bills,

You where finally told you where pregnant.

I guess I am your little miracle.

The doctors told you that I would be boy twins.

I guess God decided the world couldn't handle two of me

And in the form of rambunctious boys!

So He gave you a baby girl.

Thank you for giving me life.

As you raised your angel with three that you thought might as well have been from hell,

You still found time to shower me with the love and tenderness that I needed.

Thank you for giving me my caring heart and my brains.

As I neared double digits for my years on earth,

You watched your baby-girl get hurt.

But she grew through it all.

I'm still growing from it.

You taught me that no matter how hard life is,

It will get better.

You just have to see the best in each day

Then, be thankful that you get to see the next one.

Thank you for my perseverance and appreciation.

Now nearing the end of my teenage years,

I know you have gotten

Angry,

Scared,

And Worried

For me.

You have taught me so many things through out my life,

I still remember where I got it all from.

You.

So I hope to make you proud of me one day.

As I approach my adulthood,

I will have to be breaking away from you and Dad soon.

I'll be thrown out into the world just like everyone else to be.

I'll be a little baby all over again in the big scary place we call Earth,

But I will always have you and your lessons to fall back on when I get scared and hurt.

So this Mother's Day,

I have two things to say.

I love you,

And thank you.

She gives us a special power to face the world. for HER thank there is no special day, if you want to give her a joy then you must be happy by self, if you will be happy mother always be happy.
