Through timeA Poem by Nathaniel TaylorA long poem which should be about a somewhat dark look at the past present and future and how a person percieves one-self throughout time
When you look to the past
you see who you were you see what was But most of all, you see what should have been You get stuck in the little things and blow them up it's in the past that you put your future when you linger it's today that the choice lies to cut it loose or hold it close But if you feel you're lingering use what you have today so you won't lose it see what you do today to get by feel what you feel tomorrow say what you mean and why Because when you look at today and tomorrow yesterday fades away you'll see what is what should be you'll see your true me © 2010 Nathaniel Taylor |
