Rest for the wearyA Poem by Nathaniel Taylorit should depice a thought as well as pity
Rest for me is not soon had
Thoughts forever haunting I lay in bed waiting to sleep But some wounds just keep hurting I cover them up and then lie still For if I don't I'll fall I stand again when morning comes The just fight goes on And though more tired I may become With courage I do my weariness clad © 2010 Nathaniel TaylorAuthor's Note
