Chapter 1 - Just like it ended...

All started in a normal winter night. Me and Steve were heading our way back home.

We see a blue light beam and then suddenly...The power went off...

It was strange. We charge generators in case something goes wrong in the power plant. Something happend and the generator did not work.

It might sound cocky, but i presenced rebelion. Steve and i star hearing noises coming from east

-Oh, this is gonna get bloody...

-What are you going on about, things are going to be fine.

-Things been always like that since we putted the droids in comand of important stuff

-Are you descriminating them? Thats bad. They are just like us.

-I dont trust them. The chips they have been putting in are simply not reliable. One hit in the head and their circuits are gone.

The loud noise gets louder and we look back. A big robot swipes his arm while running at us. Steve and i dodge.

-Quick, to that alley.

More robots are running. Its an invasion.

-Snakes shall bit me when my senses fail

-Again, why im still your friend?

-Forget it, call someone!

-No signal. Go to your house, they are going that way

-Go to your house and tell someone.

We both leave, and go to our houses

Light beams everywhere through the way, i was a bit scared. Even though i knew that something like that would happen....but why?

My dad.

My dad was working at the laboratory the robots were made in, and it was from there where the beam came.

I arrived home, went looking in every room for somebody

-Mom? Dad? Drake?

-In the dining room.

I ran my way to the dining room, i find my mother reading some mail

-Come in

-Why are you here?

-None of you guys came back, so i picked up our mail. The power went off, i picked some candles and started reading

-Listen, this will make no sense, but there's robots comming our way and we need to hide.

-What is going on? Weren't your father working with that stuff?

-He was, hide for now, i will go after Drake

-What you think you are doing? you could get hurt!

-Do not worry, im smart enough to crack their cirqui...

The wall breakes and a robot atack us.

-Run Craig!

-No, Hide in your room...

The Robot hits me by the side

-Craig!

-JUST RUN

As the robot approached to atack my mother, i hear something hitting metal, it was a loud noise. The robot falls down, revealing who it was

-Drake!

-Drake!

-Mom, Craig, Hide somewhere

Another Robot atack us, this time, he hits my mother who passes out. Drake manages to desable it too.

-Take her to the hospital, i will go after our father

-Drake, be carefull, i do not want you in a hospital too

He smiles and run to the basement. He comes back with some kind of Pulserifle

-I told you to go!

I get my mom by my shoulders and we go towards the hospital. A robot sees us right as we leave and he starts chasing us. Loud noise and he down.

-Not on my watch - shouted Drake

-Thanks bro

In the middle of the walk, the lights are back on. We arrive at the hospital i tell them what happened and they

take her for treatment. It was nearly empity that night.

Drake soon arrives, with the worst news i've ever heard by then.

-I found dad....He's not with us anymore...

-No...please say you are lying. SAY IT

-STOP, he's gone and there's nothing we can do now....i'm sorry, okay? i wish i found him earlier.

-Why haven't you gone after him first?

-If i did, neither you and neither mom would be here...

That ended that night for me...my father was gone, my mom was in a hospital and there's rebel robots out there... i needed to clear my mind.
