Eid Mubarak

Eid Mubarak

A Poem by Ghania
"

Back after a long hiatus. :)

"
And while the churiyan winding around my wrist
And the payyal embellishing my ankle,
dance in symphony,

The golden dupatta races through the strands of my hair,
I smile.
Knowingly:

Look above,
Above,
through the shades of my eyelids,
And see you:

Chaand.
While you unveil.

Eid Mubarak!
