February Air

February Air

A Poem by NerdGirl

February Air

On the cool winter day,
it's better just to stay.
Just sit by the fire,
and take in it's warmth.
Stare at the flames,
as they glow and spark.
Just sit on the floor,
so nice and warm.
But when the flames go out,
we have to deal with the February air.
So we stoke the fire to make it burn,
and go back to our world of love and warmth.
