Morning Everlasting

Morning Everlasting

A Poem by Kristine

The world's not up yet,
And through the pouring rain we see,
The dying flame of the bright light.

No one knew,

Not even the darkest gloom,
The forever lasting is never lasting.
It dies, withers, slowly, in the hands of mother earth,
Morning never comes,
Not untill the day I die.

Welcome to the cafe, Kristine
I like the poem..although it might be tweaked a bit.
The third line might have a period at the end instead of a comma, as that would make it into a strog statement..and it is just that.
Same thing with the sixth line.
Just my humble opinion...Like I said, I like the poem.
