A Poem by Shane William
"

Something I started a month ago, came back to several times and can't really seem to finish it. ~shrug~ Oh well.

"

If the mountains
Bled into the seas
I'd jump into the depths
And swim with the trees
And float amongst
The airy peaks
To forget all that
One wish to Seeks

If the sky shattered,
Like stone to glass
I'd weather the storm
For time to pass
Sheltered in skin,
Encased in her eyes
Coupled with hands
And fingers entwined

If the earth were to
Crumble to clay
I'd form a castle
For my love to stay
To live out the days
In blissful solitude
To forget ideas
And the meaningless valued

If tomorrow
Was never tomorrow
Today, I feel I'd know
What to do
Because my heart was once
Bronze and now it is gold
Ready to settle in
The wise and the old

I actually did manage give this little piece some closure in the end.
