Oblivion

Oblivion

A Poem by Shane William

Patience in disguise is always hard to find
     Remnants crumbling,
          Words are fumbling
Sinking memories cry

Why is she this way? Won't Patience yonder play?

Innocence on the stair, soft and unaware
     Barefoot musings
          Ex-excuse me
Are you lost or scared?

Why is she this way? Oblivion, astray

Balance, earth, sky, sea, somewhere inbetween
     Noontime shower
          Wilting flower
Feeling incomplete

Why is she this way? Courageously afraid
