From the mouth of...

From the mouth of...

A Poem by Shane William

Whisper your diction
to my skin
in tongues that
licks fingers
turns pages
and quells that swell
that burns
missing your
lip-sticked eloquence

Speak as if tasting
the ink
that scrawls the soul
that drafts the
every bit of that
aching, dying light
and runs wet
down pages
caught by eyelash trap
muses

From out coral wined lips
~kiss of inflection
 a cadence yearned
every time
