Twinkling Star

Twinkling Star

A Poem by NeoGen87
"

Longing to be closer.

"
Twinkle, twinkle little star oh how I wish to be where you are.
Shimmering and glistening with no one to listen.
In a somber not knowing why, watched in silence as you cry.
A beauty just out of reach, standing at the edge of the beach.
Surrounded in a gaze full of solemn with all but pride swollen.
Looking away with a tear not showing any fear.
Eternally blissful with a smile lost in thought all the while.
Adorned with precious pristine, forever with a look of serene.
Woven in the nights beauty, waiting to give a sworn fealty.
Twinkle, twinkle little star oh how I long to not keep you far.
