Hold the rain

Hold the rain

A Poem by NeoGen87

If I held back all the rain
Could you take back all the pain
Drenched, I stand all alone
Surrounded and all but scorned
I'm drowning in your presence
And I have lost all my essence
If you wouldn't see me tomorrow
Would you reap all of my sorrow
Or would you be numb to all the pain
If i were all alone
Would you have known
What if I disappeared
Would you show any fear
And if I had never appeared
Would you still be here
Would you know to care
If I was never there
If I never had existed
Would you have ever resisted
If you held back the rain
Would there be anything to gain
