Darkness Envelopes

just about having a bad time being taking down

in this darkness everything is all hazy
and I'm feeling a bit light headed and fuzzy
I know this all seems just too crazy
with all this tumbling and stumbling I'm all woozy
my grip is slipping and I feel reality starting to slip
and as I'm falling down, down, down
my head hits everything on its way to the ground
STOP! take a hammer to the mirror of my life
as I begin to piece back together my strife
and just watch while everything shatters
use your facade and act like you care, not that it matters
everything is spiraling all out of control
here I'll lay still completely defeated
as you just remain all conceited
it's still not my time to say goodbye
and despite everything all you can do is just try
with all your shackles and chains
does your darkness have no range
with eyes that lost their color
stained with tears unseen they become duller
and as I look up to the sky at the star
it shines brightly over me like a small radar
and I bow my head low and silently I wish
"Star light, star bright
the first star I see tonight
I wish I may I wish I might
have the wish I wish tonight...
I wish for an end in sight..."
