The Crystal RoseA Poem by NeoGen87this I wrote for my grandmothers funeral. she loved her family and her garden. she was a sweet woman. so I had wrote it to accommodate that
A seed potted and nourished, tended and cared for. From which a single rose sprouted, full and radiant. A rare rose different from any other, unique and wonderous. With its thorns came pain of a loving punishment, which at times has hurt but never was condemned.
Abrupt and acute the pain was just as beautiful as the love itself. Erect and embedded in the seed its sewn, fertile and strong. Tending and caring, to be viewed upin by many from the heavens and earth. Blanketed in its red passion, it oversee's its admirers. With its beauty freely given. may wither and die, but passed on. Held in bereavement, its beauty unfaltered and radiant. As its memory lingers, the pain dwindles on. As time rolls by, it lives on in its fetile garden. Let it rain down and wash away the sorrow in our hearts. Remember what was worth living for yesterday. Embrace what is worth living for today. Look forward to what will be worth living for tomorrow. Let it rest, crystalised in our hearts forever to remain unforgotten. © 2012 NeoGen87Author's Note
