A TempestA Poem by NeneInterpret this one however you like :) Just know that the end is hopeful, because I'm an optimistic person. The aspens whisper Telling secrets, giving warning of the storm that lurks ahead. A sea rolls above, swirling and whirling, Layers of azul, veils of silver and jade All dancing beneath the sable void.
There they waltz, laughing merrily, A rich sound, a strong sound. A marvelous thunder.
Their dance becomes frenzied Ominous, bitter laugh Crashing and breaking like waves. A dance of death.
Then the hidden sun peeks through, A child at Christmas morning. A ray of light, of hope. A promise of better days ahead. No more is there A Tempest. © 2008 NeneReviews
