Am I Alive Or Dead ?

Less than 8% of the worlds population will ever experience what we call " Sleep Paralysis"
It's an unusual, disturbing, frightening experience. For centuries, scientists & doctors have attempted to solve the mysteries behind this bewildering, head scratching phenomenon.

It just another ordinary day but only it wasn't. It was around 9:30 pm when I started to feel an extreme drowsiness almost to the extent where I wished to fall right where I stood and sleep. I sluggishly wobbled to the edge of my bedroom and catapulted myself onto my bed only to fall to a deep sleep within seconds.

Around midnight is when I awoke only to find myself in a state where I was unable to move, speak, or have any physical control of my body. I was completely aware that I wasn't sleeping anymore but it was apparent that my brain and body were in totally different pages because not a single limb on my body was able to move an inch. As anyone else would of done I began to panic, did I wake up dead? Is this a nightmare? Unfortunately not, it was as real as it gets. I was puzzled on what type of action to take because nothing seemed to be working. My body began to shake violently and I could not believe what was happening. It was probably minutes later that I managed to break free of my hell and jump out of bed gasping for air as if I had just ran a marathon while holding in my breathe.

Many people have personal experiences of having an evil presence in the room with them while this is happening, something rather demonic like the very common " old hag " sitting on your chest screaming into your ear or the man with the "Red Hat". My experience wasn't in that manner but more of a dark, large, heavy cobra sitting on me with its mouth open as if it wanted to feast on me. Many people would like to dismiss the issue with a case of sleep disorders or mental illnesses, but don't comprehend the seriousness & emotions taken course during sleep paralysis, it's definitely something out of this world.
