Golden Gate

Golden Gate

A Poem by Somethingintheway
"

The great bridge

"
Build me a bridge I don't care if it takes a life or eleven or two
Nets to fall on nets halfway to hell
Let's all stand on, I'll climb out of my shell

I think I'll go for a swim
Let's just jump on a whim
Highway speeds to the wonderful blue
This is almost as bad as the flu

I want to be as popular as you
Also I'd like to hang out too
Rust away in place
I'll follow if I can keep pace
