Why I cherish reviews

It feels like a dream

A side step out of reality

That when one reviews my work

It cuts me out of my sanity 

Revealing my past

A moment I thought i'd forget

Yet when it comes back im not mad 

I read it over & over 

Reminicing in the problems of the past

And one after another the reviews fade

Bringing me back to reality

A feeling that I've gone up a hill of problems before

That whatever comes next may be way worse then those i've faced

But the feeling reminds me that I can make it

That this is my life

My neverending issue 

That when the review is no longer there 

I long for one, only to review my past, 

to appreciate that i was not alone...

Yes, the fact that someone reads one's creations and has something to say.. It often goes unappreciated.

In this day and age, when feedback is so easy to get, I don't think many people realize how lucky we are.. How easy it is to put our works out there.

That being said, I'm still waiting for a few of those reviews to come my way haha

It's not a goal, that brief sense of accomplishment, but there's never enough of it I guess.. Because somewhere inside, that sense of validation does feel good.

Well, tis it for me, I've got no more energy to give into more reviews.
