Today

~ I face you again today 
~ This time like many others its just in my mind 

~The thought of the last conversation i had with you floods my mind
~I put my hands over my eyes and let the tears fall...
~ Something I haven't done in a while 
~It was and still sometimes is a pain my heart will never let go
~ I still read the forgotten messages and notes that we once shared

~ Full of happiness i once held, soon replaced with a burst of pain every time I come across them 
~ When I knew you loved another...
~I continued, should I have...No?
~But I still see the way you look at me as I pass, your silent, but your eyes speak for you, there full of judgement, disappointment, and uncertainty all in one all because of the last conversation we had when words slipped and were exchanged when they should've been kept in the depth of our minds...
~They were all fake, the words, most of them anyway

~You tried to stay, NO I tried to stay, to put in the effort you were lacking, I stayed until it was too late, too late for words, too late to tell you that I couldn't anymore...

~It was too late, my soul drifted away, i was no longer me...
