Forever The Name On My Lips

Saying his name all over again
When I'm alone thinking of him
Is the only thing I can do.
Sometimes I wonder if he's thinking of me too.

I don't know how to stop this wishful thinking.
All I know is I'm patiently waiting
Until I find the one that's perfect for me.

I've been sitting here, listening to Taylor Swift's "Last Kiss,"
Because at a night like this,
I love listening to music to feel the magic of music.

The song is about to end,
Yet I'm still here, gazing intently at the moon
As how I gazed into his gorgeous face
When he looked the other way.
I wish he was that moon looking back at me.

The next song is "I Wish" by One Direction
Which makes me think of him again.
I just can't get him out of my head.
His name is always the name on my lips.

Maybe his name will be forever the name on my lips
If I can't find the one who can get him out of my head.

hey Nelyn,
how are you doing?
i enjoyed this poem. it reads like a page from a diary entry, something very personal and private. it was fun getting to know the inside of your life, even though i'm told i will never understand the feeling of a teenage girl having a crush on someone. 'I wish he was that moon looking back at me.' so true.
hope we get to read new works as well.
