That Woman In The MirrorA Poem by Nelyn Salvaleon
That woman is a poet, whose works are not that incredible.
That woman easily falls for anyone, who appreciates artless woman. That woman is a dreamer, whose dreams are as big as the planet Jupiter. That woman easily admires anyone, who respects everyone. That woman is a loner, whose friends are few and far between. That woman easily thinks of giving up when the fight isn't fair, yet she doesn't stop fighting. That woman is a defeatist, whose attitude is neither positive nor negative, since she usually expects to lose to easily accept defeat. That woman easily falls down, yet she always tries so hard to stand tall after downfall. That woman is neither an angel nor a devil, because she's in between the two of them. That woman always looks at the bright side of life to forget the dark days in the past. That woman is a masker, whose real intent isn't to deceive people, but to protect herself from abusive ones. That woman always looks at me whenever I look at her in the mirror. © 2021 Nelyn SalvaleonReviews
