Corporal punishment is Abuse in a child´s eyes.

With innocence
she plucked a rose
form a garden that wasn't here's

She spotted Mama
with her knuckles dug into her hips
 and her elbows pointy.
Is mama mad?

Her little feet ran towards Mama
She flexed her shaky arm towards Mama
Her tiny fingers gripping the stem.

"Here Mama I got you a red rose"
baby voiced with
a smile that could bring the dead to life.

Mama ripped the rose out of baby's hand
 She smacked her with it
she smacked baby countless times.

This wasn't the first time
 Mama punished
Baby for stealing roses.

Despite baby screaming
her lungs out,
mama continued ripping
her baby's pink delicate skin
with the rose's thorns.

That night with bruises and blood marks,
baby ran to the cliff where she was forbidden.
Her little beating heart was torn apart form Mamas hands.

Baby pressed her hands together
 and prayed
that if she could fly Mama would love her.

The second baby leaped of the cliff
she grew big white wings
and a halo that rested on top of her small head.

Baby pressed her hands together
and prayed
that mama would bring her red roses to her grave.
