Empty LocketA Poem by nejiel_p.r.But I was an empty locket.You got me in your pocket, Deep down the fabric clothe, But I was an empty locket, Different from what you thought, You found the function, Deep within me, you really did, T’was plunged into trepidation, Those rusts that you got rid, A picture as memory, Slid past the metal frame, This is an epiphany, Unkempt darkness you tame, The pain so inconspicuous, Lived like a pariah, You saw it, didn’t accuse, You let me sing it in aria, You got me in your pocket, And gave the happiness I sought, The changes you maketh, In this poem I wrote, © 2017 nejiel_p.r.Author's Note
