Same yet Different

For my Versions and yours!

We are All the Same

Tied at the hip to others

thinking we know the world

yet missing out on everything

We are all the same

made out of stardust

Slipping through Life

As though it is all
a giant film set

We beg to be understood 

Although we merely understand

We say we are much better

Although we fall behind

Everyone of us

Have a concept 

An imagination of our own

However, 

We reject the proposal 
Or even a possibility

of other's fascinations

We may want to be different

From others

But we all tend to forget

Supernovas are all the same

Just a different version of itself

Author's Note

After a long time, I could post something I wrote here. "Same yet Different" is a poem about how we navigate through life missing out on major aspects of our loved one's life. We think we understand, yet we do not. I hope we all try to listen more and think less. Cause sometimes, It is all about listening.

I wrote a poem about" listening", meaning that all people are NOT the same; and most people don't listen to their partners.who need attention.... it's a phenomenon that is so widespread that those who don't listen carefully... don't even realize it....no, we are not the same, some understand and some do not....read my poem "HE LISTENS".....
