What?

Every walk forward means a step ahead towards new beginnings

But every step forward means leaving some behind

It’s hard to move on

Hard to keep going

Hard to see the lights cross by

Knowing that you might not see that phase again

Well,

You better keep going and make new ones.

Time waits for none

And one who wants to remain never catches up

We, with all the moving on, forget the past

The beauty of just being in the moment

And so we will not understand,

The hardships of moving on

Sometimes I think

What if I just don’t move?

What if I don’t want the lights to cross over?

What if the road left behind becomes much more elegant

When moving forward becomes difficult and you wish to just turn around

I don’t blame the ones who want to make something of them

I am indeed like that sometimes

But in this moment

Right when I feel inquisitive

When I see the lights go by

I just want to stay

And ask myself,

What do I really want?

A good poem
I’m trying now to live more in the present rather than worry what I’ll be doing in a year or less as I may not live that long lol also I’ve tried to come to terms with
Mistakes I’ve made in past we can’t change the past

Being in the moment can be a good thing. Accept what life offers in this moment. Our past brings us to where we are. The lessons learned makes us who we are. One can still move forward and be in the present. Life moves forward and we move along with it in our own presence. T

Not a thing wrong with just being in the moment. In fact, it's the only place where reality exists. The goal driven and the nostalgic often wonder why they are unhappy, but they continue to disdain the present, where true happiness dwells.
