Be it religion

Be it tradition

Or be it other things

Everybody

And I can say this right

Everybody holds onto certain belief

One that makes their world real for them.

I like positiveness of this poem and, I agree that everyone needs something to hold onto. You didn't restrict "faith" to religion. However, for me, that's the area where I put my faith. Yet, others may have their "faith" in something else. Can't imagine what else besides God (religion) but, to each his own. Very thought-provoking piece. Nice and short. I like this. Temp

i'd say that is as true as true can be .. totally Universal in thought and theme ... straight forward ... short ... to the point .. i like it for all those reasons ... what is missing is a point of view that anyone might disagree with ... if we could all talk in such a way .. life would be without discourse .. not too sure that is desirable .. especially for this Irish Christian Catholic ... i am fully ready and willing to discuss religions and politics .. as long as there remains the option to agree to disagree and lift some spirits together ... maybe even with a song too ;)

Life has been hard and I thought why not just leave it there with the spaces. Something we so want to fill but hope to leave just like that.
