Dear sister-friend,

You are a unique friend, a really special soul..
and in my life, you have always played a special role.

Few people understand me the way you do,
and you can always cheer me up when I'm feeling blue.

You are thoughtful, considerate, funny, wise and kind.
You've always been able to make me laugh and help me unwind.

I wonder if you really know just how loved you are,
because for all who know you, you are a shining star!

Although i rarely say this, at least not aloud,
the fact that you are my unbiological sister makes me really proud.

Whatever it is that you might need, don't be afraid to ask,
I will always do my best no matter what the task.

I'll always be happy to lend a helping hand,
and i hope you know where you're concerned, I'll always understand.

I just wanted you to know that of all the human race,
you're the kind of person no one can replace.

In numerous ways, you touch my heart and just know
