Wade.

Wade.

A Poem by Nefertiti Virtudes Ahmes
"

A play off of Wade In The Water

"
“Wade in the water, wade in the water children, wade, in the water God’s gonna trouble the water.”

The bravery and slavery of our past
Makes us stronger to last
In the trouble of our future
As no one is going to nurture
Our souls as we fight for our freedom
As our lives are held in the condom
Of their hate and repression

As we wade in the water, wade in the water children wade...in the water God’s gonna save us for our future.

This is well done and made me think. Very wise words here.

The condom of hate and repression has prevented the birth of a notion that everyone is the same inside, regardless of what we look like on the outside.
Someone needs to prick that condom with a love pin.
