Two Faced.A Poem by Nefertiti Virtudes AhmesLiterally just wrote this. Apparently, I get motivated to write when I am sitting in my car haha.
Rolling, down and down.
Round and round. Jittery fingers fumble. They tumble as greedy eyes praise. They raise the sun, they hate the tan. They feed in culture but heed on nurture. All things are from nature. Do all things have a future? The sun is warm as we bathe in its light. We say goodbye to the night And all of its shadowy plights. We flee from what’s right. The power of words are thin and cutting like swords. “Help me” their eyes plead As they bleed from their chains. Weighted for eternity Waiting to be seen and picked like it’s a fraternity. Life...life drips. Drips. Drips in crimson. Like the drop of sanity. Vanity is a pain. From the ego and eyes there’s distain. In vain I decree that everyone sees glee. A face full of laughs but eyes full of loath. Double edge, double dose. Two faced Now they’re comatose. Catatonic from their disease. Their stench loud like a sneeze. No amount of febreze can cover their odor. As they walk around like ogres. Eating and ripping mankind. The differences of them and you strike. The sky collapsed and their minds sizzled. Dazzled by their “beauty” as they mimic something they hated. Mimes they are. “Victims” they are. First they are. Right they are. Accepted they are. Loved they are.
