I've Had a DreamA Poem by OctaviousJust a the motivation of a dream.
I've had a dream,
I speak not of a dream that has come and gone over night. Nor do I speak of inspiration that happened to pass me during flight. I've had a dream, that has manifested into a compulsion. I've had a dream that is no longer a thought with a spotlight, I speak of the dream that I will follow, and if it kills me, then so be it. I will travel the high and lows, I will crawl through the depths of despair, I will climb until my oxygen has ran out, because I've had a dream. I've had the dream over and over, each time exposing something new, slowly to the pace I con function in, the plan places through. I know of the difficulties, I am aware of the voices that aim against me, but I know that in the end the voice will chant for me, I know that I will be the one to warn others of the difficulties. So I take my first step, aware of the pain, the fear, and the false shame, But have a dream, and I will concur it . . . or die tying. You've all had dreams, but I tell you this before I leave, if you don't have the same sense belief, when it comes to a dream, than you haven't experienced the dream of dreams. © 2015 OctaviousAuthor's Note
